Hey guys!!!! Today i just want to talk to you all about the violence in Chicago....It's really starting to get crazy! I was born and raised in Chicago. Therefore I witnessed alot of violence due to gangs. I was very fortunate that my grandmother kept me away from it all...But today, Chicago's violence is at an all time HIGH!!! Every weekend about 5 people are shot or even killed. Im just wondering what the police doing there to protect the innocent people who are getting hit by these stray bullets. This makes me not want to ever go back to living there. I mean, I do love my city but i refuse to lose my life by simply walking down the street. It breaks my heart to see such a great city be destroyed by all these shootings and gang violence. A change seriously needs to made and something must be done. I fear for my family who is back at home and I just pray everyday that none of these bullets hit them. CHICAGO, LETS STOP THIS MADDNESS!!!

HELLO guys!!!!! I've been so busy with my school work lately that I haven't had a chance to blog to you all. Okay, so, graduation is in exactly 16 days!!!! Im super excited! I will be the first person in my family to graduate from college. It still hasn't really hit me yet that Im almost done. I still have ALOT of work to do before i can officially be done. But i refuse to give up now that Im so close. After college, I've been thinking about going to grad school at Roosevelt University! I recently got accepted and I would love to have a masters in Speech Communication. Radio-tv is starting to drift further away from my dreams these days. Maybe i just need a break from it. Anyways I will update you guys really soon about my plans after graduation.

My girl Erykah

Erykah Badu is going crazy guys!!! Okay hello everybody, usually my blogs are about me, but this time i wanted to spreak about my girl Erykah Badu...When i was younger i grew up listening to her soulful music and i have always loved her. Now that i am 22! (Wow im getting old) I still love all her music and i am in love with her new album!!! So, i was watching the news yesterday morning and they were talking about this controversial video that she put out. The name of the song is called, "window seat" but during the video Erykah proceeds to take all her clothes! She is walking down the street that JKF was assassinated naked from head to toe!!! The media has went on a freenzy talking about this crazy video. And i have to say myself that I am not a fan of it. She didn't even have a permit to shoot the video on that location! Alot of people feel disrespected because at the end she gets shot and falls, mimicking JFK. Now dont get me wrong, I absolutely love Erykah Badu, but she has gone way too far with this one...I wish i could post the video but i cant find it, i think alot of websites have taken it down...If i find it, I'll post it immediately guys! Hello everyone!!! I hope you all enjoyed your Valentines Day. I had a wonderful v-day. I was downtown on a horse and carriage ride and it was amazing. In other news, I am really excited today because I have finally booked my ticket and I'm officially going to LAS VEGAS for spring break!!!! This will be my first time on a plane so I'm super excited. I am going to be with all my best friends and we will be there for 4 days and 5 nights....But i will NOT gamble. I will only party and drink responsibly! Stay tuned in to my post guys and i will update you on how the trip was and i will put some pictures up as well.

Hello world!!! Today is Feb. 11, 2010!!! I am really excited today because I get to home to Chicago and be with my family for the weekend...I am also glad to be going home because i feel like I need a break from school already! I must be having senioritis or something. I just know that i need to focus more and spend more time in the library concentrating on my work. Well that's all i have to say for now, so see you all next time.

Hello world, its me, Asia! This is my very first blog. My day started off pretty good today. I got up at 6a.m. and finished some homework for class. Then it was off to class, that I fell asleep in ofcourse. lol. After class i went to work and to my suprise, we had a food day!! After stuffing my face with cookies and chips i clocked out and went to the rec. I had a great work out today with my abs. Later, i went home and showered and then my boyfriend and I went out to dinner at Red Lobster. Now im full and back at home ready to sleep and do it all over again tommorrow. Good Night Everyone!
